ThermiSmooth vs ThermiTight

ThermiSmooth vs ThermiTight

Do you notice signs of aging on your face? Are there wrinkles, fine lines, and sagging and you don’t have the firmness or elasticity that you used to have? Thanks to advances in cosmetic procedures, you have choices that do not involve surgery. ThermiSmooth and ThermiTight are two treatment alternatives that can help you look and feel more youthful again.

What is ThermiSmooth?

ThermiSmooth is a treatment option that uses the ThermiRF handheld device to deliver epidermal heating to the surface of your skin. It is applied to areas of concern where you have drooping and wrinkles. Radio Frequency energy is emitted, producing heat, as the device provides you with what feels like a warm massage. The device is moved in a circular motion.

Treatment sessions are performed in-office and take a short period of time. There is no pain involved and no down time. With repeated visits, you will begin to see a noticeable difference as lines are smoothed away, and your skin regains elasticity, thanks to the stimulation of collagen production in your skin.

What is ThermiTight?

ThermiTight is more involved than the ThermiSmooth treatment. A needle is inserted into the lower layers of the skin of affected areas. At that point, a probe is inserted through the needle to deliver the ThermiRF radio frequency treatment. As a result, the lower layers of the skin are heated to produce results that are more effective. Collagen production is stimulated, and the skin will become tighter. The surface of your skin will become smoother as well.

Sessions last no more than an hour while several sessions are advised for the best results. Mild swelling is to be expected, but you can return to your normal activities immediately after your treatment.

Which Treatment is Best for You?

When considering your options, choosing ThermiTight or ThermiSmooth is a personal choice. It is all about the extent of your treatments and the results that you want. If you have mild lines that are not that noticeable, and your drooping skin is not dramatic, you may opt for ThermiSmooth. For more pronounced sagging and wrinkles, ThermiTight could be the best alternative.

Both treatments are considered safe, have minimal risks, and can help you to avoid invasive surgery. You can have a more youthful appearance without taking drastic measures. If you are interested or have any questions contact Mariposa Medical Spa today to schedule a consultation. At Mariposa Medical Spa, our medical team will work with you to create a treatment plan that is right for you.
